Cam Newton used to be the starting quarterback for the Panthers however, he is currently a free agent. The last contract he had with the Panthers was over at the end of the 2021 NFL season.

The Panthers’ home stadium is called the Bank of America Stadium. The stadium has been the home of the Panthers since their first NFL season, although it used to be known as the Ericsson Stadium in 1996. Charlotte based financial services company, the Bank of America bought its naming rights for $140 million in 2004.  The stadium is also the home stadium for the MLS side, Charlotte FC. 

Currently there are eight Carolina Panthers players who are inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They include Sam Mills, Reggie White, Kevin Greene, Mike McCormack, Bill Polian, Wesley Walls, Gerald Williams, and Eugene Robinson.

The Carolina Panthers do not have a great Playoff track record. Their last Playoff appearance was in 2018 when they did not make it past the Wild Card Round against the New Orleans Saints.
