Dan Snyder is disliked by many NFL fans because he is embroiled in a number of controversies. He was urged to rename the club from the Washington Redskins out of respect for Native Americans from the moment he bought the franchise. However, he refused to do so for a long period of time. The current allegations against Dan Snyder include an ongoing investigation by the NFL, as well as the United States Congress, for toxic workplace and sexual harassment.
