Tatum Paxley: A Brief Biography

Natalie Holland, born on October 29, 1996, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE on the NXT brand, where she performs under the ring name Tatum Paxley. Tatum, a skilled professional wrestler and powerlifter, Originated from Dallas, Texas, United States. She is a regular member of the NXT roster and made her WWE in-ring debut on the February 18, 2022, episode of NXT Level Up.

Wrestling Career

WWE NXT (2021-present)

In August 2021, WWE enlisted Holland, following her successful completion of physical tests conducted by the company. Commencing her training at the WWE Performance Center, she was assigned the ring name Tatum Paxley. Paxley debuted on the February 18, 2022, episode of NXT Level Up, teaming up with Ivy Nile from Diamond Mine and securing a victory against Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay.

On the February 22 episode of NXT, Paxley and Nile faced Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter in the first round of the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic but were defeated. As a formalised tag team, they later participated in a fatal four-way match on the August 2 episode of NXT, competing for the vacant NXT Women's Tag Team Championship against Katana Chance and Carter, Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon, and Toxic Attraction. Unfortunately, they failed to secure the championship. Feeling morally abandoned, Paxley turned heel on the March 14, 2023, episode of NXT, attacking Nile during a three-way tag team match and causing her to suffer a pinfall loss to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. Paxley faced defeat herself on the April 4 episode of NXT against Ivy Nile.

As 2023 progressed, Paxley adopted the persona of a disturbed character, and heading to 2024, she embarked on a storyline involving the unsettling act of stalking Lyra Valkyria. This weird behaviour extended to backstage interviews and during Valkyria's matches. The narrative took a turn on NXT: New Year's Evil when Paxley transitioned to a positive role, turning face by coming to Valkyria's rescue during a beatdown orchestrated by Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez.

Lyra Valkyria, set to defend her "WWE NXT" Women's Championship against Roxanne Perez at WWE NXT Vengeance Day on February 3, 2024, finds herself preoccupied with more than just the impending title match. During an interview on "Busted Open Radio," Valkyria shared her reflections on the actions of her fellow "NXT" star, Tatum Paxley, who seems to have an unusual interest in her.

Recounting the genesis of their connection in a light-hearted manner, Valkyria mentioned how it all started with her holding the door open for Paxley at the WWE Performance Center. She went on to elaborate on Paxley's distinctive behaviour, both in private and public settings. Despite Paxley's recent assistance, which included the dramatic act of putting Perez through a table, Valkyria maintains a level of scepticism regarding the true benefit of Paxley's involvement. This adds an intriguing layer of uncertainty as Valkyria prepares for her championship defence at Vengeance Day.

NXT Vengeance Day 2024

At NXT Vengeance Day, February 2024, the NXT Women's Championship bout took an unexpected turn. Originally, Lyra Valkyria was set to defend her title against former champion Roxanne Perez in a singles contest. However, the situation escalated when Lola Vice seized the opportunity to cash in her NXT Breakout Tournament contract, transforming the match into a Triple Threat showdown.

Despite Tatum Paxley's efforts to thwart Lola Vice's cash-in, she was unsuccessful, leading to the triple threat scenario. Lola Vice initially dominated the match, but an unsuccessful intervention by Tatum created a crucial opening for Lyra Valkyria. Seizing the moment, Valkyria executed her finishing move on Vice, securing the victory and successfully retaining her NXT Women's Championship at NXT Vengeance Day 2024.
