Baltej Singh Dhanda is an Indian cricketer born on November 04, 1990, in Ludhiana, Punjab. He is primarily a right-arm medium bowler and a right-handed batter. The 33-year-old represents his home side Punjab in the domestic circuit as well as in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by being part of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) squad.

Despite having debuted in domestic cricket in 2011 at the age of 21, Baltej Singh has not gotten enough opportunities. However, he has managed to create a small niche for himself in the limited number of opportunities that he has gotten across formats for Punjab in the domestic circuit.
Baltej Singh Domestic Career
Baltej Singh made his domestic debut for his state side Punjab against Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy in Bengaluru on December 13, 2011. Across the two innings, the pacer went wicketless. Three years later, he made his List-A debut for Punjab against Haryana in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2014-15 season in Nadaun on November 4, 2014. Under the captaincy of ace Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, Singh managed to scalp a solitary wicket in the form of Joginder Sharma. He also took a catch and effected a run-out.
In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2015-16 season, Singh made his T20 debut for Punjab against Rajasthan in Kochi on January 2, 2016. Under the leadership of Yuvraj Singh, the right-arm medium pacer was effective and took a couple of wickets under his belt.
Baltej Singh IPL Career
After serving his home side Punjab Kings as a net bowler, Baltej Singh found takers in the franchise at the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 20 lakhs. After warming the bench for a couple of years, the Ludhiana pacer was let go ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. He has yet to feature in an IPL game.
