• NFC team games broadcast rights belong to FOX

• Interconference games meaning AFC teams vs NFC teams broadcast rights are given to the away team’s network. (Meaning, if the away team belongs to the AFC, then CBS will broadcast the game, and vice-versa).

The upside for NBC is that Sunday Night Football is considered a primetime slot and that gives the channel exclusive rights to host these games for the entire duration of the NFL season.

Sunday Night Football kickoff time is generally 8:20 p.m. Eastern time, live on NBC and its streaming platform Peacock which provides viewers more than one option to watch the games. Now this is a matchup that could potentially be electric. CJ Stroud picked up right where he left off after taking home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Caleb Williams didn’t set pulses racing in his first NFL game under center but that was expected of the former USC rookie.

On paper, the Bears have a somewhat equal footing on defense but the Texans’ offense was pretty exciting to watch on Sunday. Stroud came close to throwing two INTs, but Week 1 was mostly a sloppy affair for all teams involved. Expect the Texans to come out firing, given they have home support for Week 2’s SNF schedule.
