Team India completed a sensational series win by beating Zimbabwe in the fifth T20I by 42 runs. The Men in Blue lost the first game but made a great comeback to seal a comprehensive 4-1 scoreline.

The BCCI took to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle to post the video capturing the emotions of the Indian players after the emphatic series win. Several players were also seen recalling their best moments from the series.

Abhishek Sharma had a debut series to remember as he scored a sensational hundred in just his second game for India. On this, he said:

"It was my first series that too overseas and then to get a hundred in that in just the second game was special. As a player, your role is to keep working hard. Moments like this motivates me a lot. I am sure this is just the beginning. I will work really hard."

T20 World Cup winners Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube were also seen in the video recalling their key contributions from the series. Samson scored a fine half-century in the final T20I and helped his team post a total beyond Zimbabwe's reach.

Stand-in captain Shubman Gill on leading the Indian team in Zimbabwe

Shubman Gill got the opportunity to lead the Indian team in the series against Zimbabwe and shared his experience on how easy it was to work with the players in the squad. He also shed light on why Zimbabwe was a special destination for him to play cricket.

On this, Gill said:

"I have played with or against every player in age-group cricket. That made my job as a captain quite easy for me. I scored my first international century here in Zimbabwe and captained my team for the first time so this is a very special place for me."

The Men in Blue's next assignment would be a tour of Sri Lanka where they will play three ODIs and as many T20Is beginning on July 27.
