Team India beat Zimbabwe comprehensively by 10 wickets in the fourth T20I on Saturday, July 14, at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. Courtesy of the dominating win, the visiting team took an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the five-match series.

India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first in the contest. Zimbabwe scored a respectable total of 152/7 in 20 overs on the back of captain Sikandar Raza's knock of 46 (28). He received some support from openers Tadiwanashe Marumani (32 off 31) and Wessly Madhevere (25 off 24). Left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed (2/32 in four overs) was the pick of the Indian bowlers.

It was one-way traffic in the second innings as Yashasvi Jaiswal (93* off 53) and Shubman Gill (58* off 39) helped India cruise towards target in just 15.2 overs. Jaiswal played aggressively from the onset and put pressure on the Zimbabwe bowlers. Gill played second fiddle to him during their 156-run partnership.

"Even 180 wouldn't have been enough"- Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza after clinical loss vs India in 4th T20I

At the post-match presentation, Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza reflected on the dismal loss, saying:

"The wicket was on the slower side at the start, it was a bit damp, we made our plan and thought 160 was par, but the way they batted, even 180 wouldn't have been enough.
"Bowling could've come to the party with the fielding, in short of space we can be a competitive team. The last two overs when they bowled, even though the last five overs went for 50 plus, we could've got eight more runs there, but the wicket didn't allow us."

Raza continued:

"We can dissect the game anyway we want, they batted really well and outplayed us completely. The wicket is slightly on the slower side, I thought the heavy roller did the trick for them, initially thought it would be flat, but thought it would get slower but it became an easy wicket. Hopefully better performance, all three departments firing and we can finish the series on a high with a win."

The two teams will square off in the fifth and final T20I of the series on Sunday (July 14) at the same venue.
