Young Team India wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel posted a hilarious photo from the airport after the conclusion of the five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. The Men in Blue bounced back strongly to win four games on the trot after losing the series opener to win 4-1.

The young Indian brigade has proved that they are ready to take the baton forward in the absence of senior cricketers - Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja - who announced their T20 retirement after the World Cup.

Soon after routing Zimbabwe 4-1, Jurel took to Instagram to post a hilarious picture from the airport. Along with Jurel, Avesh Khan, Abhishek Sharma, Ravi Bishnoi, and Khaleel Ahmed were seen in the picture. The post has gone viral on the internet, with several cricketers, including Suryakumar Yadav, replying with funny comments.

Dhruv Jurel captioned the picture:

"Garden mein mana kiya toh airport mein ghumne aagaye 😂💯."

For those unversed, the caption refers to a certain stump mic reaction from Indian skipper Rohit Sharma where he was asking the youngsters to be more alert on the field. The incident took place during the second Test between India and England in Vizag, which went viral on social media.

How did Dhruv Jurel fare against Zimbabwe?

The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter had an underwhelming T20I debut for India. He played the first two games of the series in the absence of Sanju Samson but couldn't make any notable contributions.

Dhruv Jurel scored only six runs in the series opener, which the Men in Blue lost after failing to chase down 116 runs. In the next game, he didn't get an opportunity to bat after India's openers ran riot.

On the wicketkeeping front, he inflicted a stumping and grabbed a catch in the two matches combined.
