Toronto Raptors Roster
The Toronto Raptors are undergoing a youth movement, led by rising star Scottie Barnes. With his strong two-way play, the much-improved RJ Barrett, and the crafty scoring of Immanuel Quickley, the Raptors roster 2024 has the potential to be an exciting one.
The small forward position for the Toronto Raptors roster is acquired by RJ Barrett and Bruce Brown Jr will back him up. Barrett is expected to be one of the leaders of the team along with Scottie Barnes. The versatile play of Barrett makes him a dual threat, making him capable of outside scoring and attacking the rim. Barnes again playing as a ball-handling forward, also known as ‘point forward’, would immensely help the Raptors’ offense. The Raptors' lineup backcourt features Immanuel Quickley as the point guard and Gradey Dick as the shooting guard.
Joining this young core will be two veteran leaders Kelly Olynyk and Jakob Poeltl. Both of them bring valuable experience to the Raptors roster and are known for their rim protection. Olynyk also can stretch the floor with his shooting. Another frontcourt player is Chris Boucher, who is known for being a good shot blocker. His return from injury is key for the Toronto Raptors roster.
Bruce Brown Jr. is an NBA champion amongst all, and he provides a potent scoring threat while being a pesky perimeter defender. Then, there’s newly acquired Davion Mitchell who will look to vow Raptors fans with his 3-point shooting and defense. The Raptors' lineup also has Ochai Agbaji, whose youth and athleticism add depth to the Raptors' roster. Lastly, the rookies Ja'Kobe Walter, Ulrich Chomche, and Jamal Shead are eager to gain valuable experience and make key contributions to the Raptors roster.
