On July 26, 2004, Coulibaly was born in Saint-Cloud, France. He initially attended the Courbevoie Sport Basket to start his basketball career and eventually began to play for the Paris-based club Levallois Sporting Club in 2017.
By the age of 21, Coulibaly made his debut for the Metropolitans 92 in the Under-21 league of LNB Espoirs. Here, he averaged 21.9 ppg and 2.6 steals per game.
