During the latest episode of WWE RAW, the newly-formed trio of Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville defeated the team of Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, and Lyra Valkyria in a six-woman tag team match. After their victory, they were confronted by Damage CTRL.

Unfortunately, Katana Chance suffered a broken nose during the match. Following the bout, Kayden Carter shared a clip of her tag team partner bloodied and receiving treatment backstage. Many fans have since been wondering how exactly this happened. Based on replays, the incident appears to have occurred during the closing stages of the match, when Zoey Stark hit Chance with her finisher, Z-360, a knee strike to the face to secure the win.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter recently talked about their goals in WWE

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter have proven to be one of the top tag teams in the women's division. The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions were called to the main roster in 2023. Since then, they have had a decent run on the brand, including winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship once.

During a recent appearance on WWE's The Bump, Chance and Carter discussed the state of women's tag team wrestling in the company. Carter mentioned that they aspire to represent the women's tag division and to change people's perspectives about it.

"For us, we want to be the staple and the representation of why the women’s tag division is so awesome, and we want to build our legacy, and really change what people’s perspective is of women’s tag team wrestling. We want to be like, when people talk about tag wrestling, they’re not like, ‘The Usos, Street Profits.’ They want to be like, ‘Kayden and Katana.’ We want to add that staple and just be representation for all the years of tag wrestling to come," Carter said.
