After the conclusion of WWE Bad Blood, the Stamford-based promotion is set to present Crown Jewel on November 2nd, 2024, from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Until now, Triple H has announced two matches for the card, which will involve World Champions competing for the Crown Jewel Titles.

However, apart from these two bouts, The Game will have to book more matches to fill the card. On this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the WWE Chief Content Officer could announce a title match in which LA Knight could defend his United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes.

Last week on SmackDown, Hayes fought AJ Styles in a singles match. Before the bout, Knight came out and announced whoever won the match would receive a US Title shot. While both Hayes and Styles gave it their best, the contest was eventually won by the former as The Phenomenal One wasn't able to continue.

After his win, Hayes was seen celebrating his victory in the ring, but that's when LA Knight hit him with a BFT. Later on the show, Hayes went to Nick Aldis to ask for his title opportunity against The Megastar, but the SmackDown GM told him they would discuss the same next week.

Given Aldis made this statement last week, it won't be surprising to see him announce a US Title match between LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes at Crown Jewel. The last time Knight wrestled in Saudi Arabia was against Roman Reigns. That night The Defiant One got a great response from the crowd, which is why booking him this year makes sense.

WWE Superstar expresses interest in winning LA Knight's United States Championship

At SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, LA Knight beat Logan Paul to win the United States Championship. Since then, Knight has successfully defended his title on multiple occasions. While no one has been able to dethrone The Megastar yet, a WWE Superstar on SmackDown recently expressed interest.

The WWE Superstar in question is former United States Champion Baron Corbin. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), a user posted a photo of Cobin with the United States Championship and mentioned that Corbin needs to win the US Title again.

Corbin quote-tweeted the post and agreed with the user. The WWE Superstar wrote:

"I agree!! Just need the opportunity!! I’m fighting like hell for it . Let’s go!"

While Corbin is currently teaming up with Apollo Crews, it will be interesting to see if he steps up to face LA Knight at some point. Until now, Corbin and Knight have not faced each other, which makes this bout interesting.
