WWE may have accidentally spoiled Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam; likely Undisputed Title match for Bash in Berlin week revealed

Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship is confirmed for SummerSlam 2024. This is the first time The American Nightmare will defend the title against a member of The Bloodline since dethroning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

It is expected that the current champion will retain against the new Bloodline leader, but some believe WWE may flip the script and make Sikoa dethrone Rhodes. While the impossible is always to be expected with WWE, the company may have accidentally leaked the results of The American Nightmare's SummerSlam 2024 match due to an advertised bout for the August 27 house show in Oberhausen, Germany.

Apparently, three matches have been advertised for the live event, and one of them is Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles. However, the advertised match mentions The American Nightmare as the WWE Champion, which means Rhodes will not lose his title at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Even though WWE match cards are subject to change till the last minute, it's possible this time the match advertised will not be modified. Given the storyline, Rhodes must retain the title to build the rivalry between The Bloodline and himself further, especially with fans anticipating The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes for WrestleMania 41.

Additionally, Roman Reigns is supposed to return at SummerSlam 2024. He will be locking horns with Solo Sikoa over The Bloodline's leadership, which in itself is a huge angle. If WWE puts the gold over Sikoa's shoulder at SummerSlam 2024, two big angles will be occupied by The Bloodline, leaving the rest of the roster looking bland.

It would be better to have Rhodes retain the title and work as a fighting champion against other top superstars until The Rock returns to the company.

The Bloodline is taking out all of Cody Rhodes' allies ahead of SummerSlam 2024

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline attacked Kevin Owens following A-Town Under vs. Rhodes & Owens. While The Prizefighter did his best, The Bloodline got the best of him and left him motionless.

During last week's episode, Solo Sikoa's Bloodline attacked Randy Orton brutally. Jacob Fatu Superkicked him thrice to the face before he was Triple Powerbombed through the table.

Both Orton and Owens are Rhodes' biggest supporters against The Bloodline. If Solo Sikoa takes them out ahead of the title match at SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes will be left alone against the entire Bloodline, and his title will be at severe risk! However, the lack of ringside support can be the angle used for Roman Reigns' return. The former Big Dog could help Rhodes win by taking out Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, marking his face turn.
