On tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods. While Jey is a favorite to retain his title, the only concern heading into the bout is Woods' recent behavior on the red brand, which suggests he could turn heel.

If true, The New Day member could cheat his way to victory against the IC Champion and turn heel in the process. However, if something like that takes place, there is a chance Triple H could book a WWE Hall of Famer to help The YEET Master. The legend in question is Rey Mysterio.

On last week's episode of RAW, The Master of 619 and Woods faced each other in a singles match. The encounter ended on a controversial note as the erstwhile King of the Ring took off Mysterio's mask and capitalized on the opportunity to pick up a victory.

Later, The New Day member clarified to Kofi Kingston that he did not remove Mysterio's mask on purpose, claiming it was an accident. However, many thought Xavier Woods did it on purpose.

The former World Heavyweight Champion could intervene during tonight's match and exact revenge on Woods, helping Jey Uso retain the title. After the match, a frustrated Xavier could attack Kofi and establish his heel turn.

This angle also works well because not only does it turn Xavier Woods heel, but it also sets up his feud with Rey Mysterio. However, the angle is speculative at this point.

WWE legend predicts Jey Uso will become World Champion ''in due time!''

Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker on the September 23, 2024, episode of RAW to win the Intercontinental Championship. This marked Jey's first singles championship win in the Stamford-based promotion.

Meanwhile, during a recent episode of Off The Top with Rikishi Fatu, Jey Uso's father, Rikishi, predicted that The YEET Master would become WWE World Champion ''in due time.'' The veteran made the same prediction for former Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

"I'm saying this for both of these kids; in due time, I see them holding the championship belt. The big one, at least one time. We'll see how far they'll go, but I thought the match was absolutely amazing!" he said. [From 17:51 to 18:06]

It will be interesting to see if Rikishi's prediction comes true in the future.
