Cody Rhodes could have some backup in a certain WWE Hall of Famer at Bad Blood 2024. This Saturday, The American Nightmare will team up with Roman Reigns to face The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match.
Many fans and experts feel this is not a great career decision for the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion. However, Cody Rhodes could have a plan up his sleeve this weekend by bringing in Arn Anderson as his backup.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE is bringing multiple legends this week at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event. Arn Anderson is rumored to be among those legends returning along with the former member of The Four Horsemen, Tully Blanchard. The Steiner Brothers and Diamond Dallas Page are rumored to be present at the event as well.
Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes performed together during their time in AEW. The former's help and guidance saw the latter become the inaugural TNT Champion.
Rhodes will team up with The Original Tribal Chief, who has promised to be loyal in their upcoming tag team match at Bad Blood 2024. However, The Bloodline has the numbers advantage and just two people handling them will not be easy. Cody Rhodes made his WWE main roster in-ring debut in 2007. After multiple failures to reach the top of the mountain, he finally is the top champion in the Stamford-based company.
In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson revealed what makes Cody so special. The 66-year-old veteran has known Rhodes since childhood and also managed him during his time in AEW.
