Vince McMahon resigned from TKO's Board of Directors after former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him on grounds of sexual misconduct and human trafficking. TKO distanced itself from the former WWE Chairman following the allegations, and no one has commented about it during any press conference.

One of the things that came forward during this time was the NDAs that the 79-year-old had made some former employees sign. Recently, Janel Grant's lawyers referred to these non-disclosure agreements and claimed that the new management should release everyone from the NDAs to take the first step towards rehabilitation of the Stamford-based company.

“If WWE and its parent company Endeavor are serious about parting ways with Vince McMahon and the toxic workplace culture he created, their executives should have no problem with releasing former WWE employees from their NDAs,” Ann Callis, Grant’s attorney, said in a statement. “This is the first step to rehabilitating a company that covered up decades of sexual assault and human trafficking.”

Vince McMahon's docuseries on Netflix briefly touched upon the lawsuit

Netflix had begun shooting for the Mr. McMahon docuseries prior to the lawsuit being filed. Vince McMahon's interviews were filmed before he resigned from the Sports Entertainment juggernaut earlier this year.

The series showed the moment when Vince was not interviewed further, but others were. The lawsuit was discussed, but nothing too extravagant was mentioned. Fightful Select noted that the finale focused on the lawsuit despite McMahon not continuing interviews. According to the report, this was done to take any potential heat off interviewees who spoke fondly of Vince prior to the lawsuit.

Furthermore, Janel Grant's spokesperson revealed that Netflix's team handling the documentary had reached out for an interview, but nothing came to fruition.
