Seth Rollins is considered one of WWE's workhorses and the original "Triple H Guy." However, his run in the company hasn't been all smooth sailing even after The Game took over the creative directions for the company in July 2022.

Seth Rollins is not afraid to express his thoughts about certain topics now and then. He is very vocal about how he is handled in WWE. In an August 2023 interview with the SI Media podcast, The Visionary shared that he was angry in early 2022 about how he was booked. He shared that he grew frustrated after several drastic changes weekly from the Day 1 Premium Live Event until WrestleMania 38 when Cody Rhodes returned.

For this list, we will look at three times WWE may have done Seth Rollins dirty.

#3. Cancelled match at WWE SummerSlam 2022

WWE SummerSlam 2022 marked the first premium live event after Vince McMahon's initial exit from the company. However, Seth Rollins did not even have a match for the monumental show.

The Visionary was initially planned to face Matt Riddle in a personal match for that year's Biggest Party of the Summer. However, Rollins injured his opponent on the RAW episode before the event, which was later reported as a reason to cancel their match. It was also rumored that their bout was canceled after Matt Riddle failed the company's Wellness Policy Drug Test.

Fans wanted to see Seth in action, but they only saw a glimpse of him. At the actual event, Riddle appeared to call out Rollins. The latter rushed out and both men brawled in the ring with officials separating them.

#2. Seth Rollins's WrestleMania 40 plans were altered for Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline's story

It's safe to say that WrestleMania 40 experienced major changes in its card. Instead of The Rock facing Roman Reigns, it was Cody Rhodes. Since CM Punk was injured, Seth had to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.

On the first night of the event, Rhodes and Rollins teamed against Dwayne Johnson and The Head of the Table. While the tag team match was exciting, Rollins wasn't supposed to be involved in it at all. The match only happened because fans wanted Cody, which means that it wasn't even about The Visionary, and that made him look like a sidekick.

#1. Seth Rollins is placed in a tricky situation for WWE SummerSlam 2024

One of the biggest feuds heading into this year's SummerSlam event is Drew McIntyre vs CM Punk. However, this could leave Seth directionless for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Since Punk is still not cleared to wrestle yet, Rollins might have to step in against Drew at the event. However, if the Chicago star is cleared, Seth will reportedly not be involved in the match as there are no plans to turn it into a triple-threat match. This makes it seem like he is once again a second-fiddle and a mere option.
