Triple H made a few waves on this week’s episode of RAW. Not only did he have Cody Rhodes on the show, but he also dropped quite a few massive hints. From the return of a major tag team to a potential heel turn for Xavier Woods, RAW had it all. The episode even confirmed that Bron Breakker and Jey Uso will be feuding once more. However, the Cerebral Assassin isn’t perfect and he did get one thing wrong, sending a top star back to irrelevancy in the process.

The top star in question here is none other than Sami Zayn. The Underdog from the Underground had his biggest opportunity of the year last night, as he took on Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, Zayn came up short, confirming that WWE Crown Jewel will see The American Nightmare take on The Ring General. And, while that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, the manner in which things ended is where Triple H got things wrong.

The match between Gunther and Sami Zayn was nothing short of incredible. Both men gave it their all, and Zayn especially proved time and time again that he might truly be The Ring General’s kryptonite. However, despite a valiant effort, Zayn fell short after Gunther secured the victory by making Zayn pass out with a sleeper hold. This could be seen as a huge error on Triple H’s part, as he had Zayn lose clean, once again putting the latter in the shadow realm.

A clean loss leaves things up in the air for Zayn. Had he lost due to some form of interference from Ludwig Kaiser or some underhanded tactic from Gunther, he would have come out of the match still looking like a top contender for a world title. But now, it seems like his character once again has no direction. That said, at the end of the day, this is all just a matter of opinion.

Triple H may be planning to bring a WWE Hall of Famer back to Monday Night RAW

Whether or not Triple H fumbled the bag on last night’s RAW is debatable. That being said, The Game is looking towards the future and is working hard on bringing the best and greatest to WWE. With that in mind, following WWE Bad Blood, a Hall of Famer’s return may be in the books, and he might be the “next” star to return to Monday Night RAW.

Bill Goldberg made quite the impression in Atlanta, Georgia. Having been insulted by Gunther, Goldberg attempted to storm the ring but was stopped by security. Although he didn’t get his hands on The Ring General, who Sami Zayn took out, Goldberg was acknowledged by WWE’s CCO. Following the event, The King of Kings took to X where he thanked The Myth for coming to Bad Blood and claimed they would talk soon.

Could this mean that Goldberg will be making an in-ring return soon? Perhaps he may get the fairy tale ending in WWE that he has long been hoping for. At this point, we’ll just have to wait and see.
