WWE has recently made some huge signings. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer, two international megastars, have found their way to NXT. Meanwhile, DELTA, another international star, and The Motor City Machine Guns are set to arrive soon.

With three weekly shows airing in prime time and several b-shows, it is important for Triple H and Shawn Michaels to have fresh rosters, exciting matches, and new stories on a regular basis. As a result, they are likely always looking for new performers to bring in.

One star who might join World Wrestling Entertainment is Jonathan Gresham. The former AEW star has been working with TNA Wrestling, but his contract with the promotion is allegedly expiring in 2025.

While it isn't clear if he'll make the jump to the biggest wrestling promotion on Earth, the report indicates that he made a good impression on officials in the past. This could mean that a move to World Wrestling Entertainment may happen. If he does jump ship, there are several interesting paths he could take and this article will break down several of them.

Below are four things Jonathan Gresham could do if he joins WWE in 2025.

#4. He could challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship

Trick Williams is one of WWE's brightest prospects. While he is already good in the ring, Trick truly shines on the microphone with his infectious charisma. He is a former NXT North American Champion and a two-time NXT Champion.

In fact, Trick just regained the prized title a few weeks ago. He defeated Ethan Page to regain the NXT Championship. Now, the two talented WWE stars will clash once more at Halloween Havoc later this month with the belt on the line.

Trick will inevitably need new opponents for his reign to remain fresh and this could be where Jonathan Gresham factors in. He could debut by challenging Trick for the coveted title provided Williams still holds the gold in 2025.

#3. Jonathan Gresham could be an entry in the 2025 WWE Men's Royal Rumble Match

The Royal Rumble has been one of WWE's most popular events for decades now. While WrestleMania and arguably SummerSlam are bigger, many fans believe that the show that kickstarts The Road To WrestleMania is the most interesting of them all.

Each year, WWE hosts the Men's Royal Rumble Match in which 30 competitors clash for a chance to challenge for a world title at WrestleMania. The fun bout often features surprise returns, but sometimes even has a debut or two.

Jonathan Gresham debuting in the company via the Men's Royal Rumble Match would be a lot of fun. While he isn't a massive name, some fans may know him for his time in ROH, AEW, and TNA. Those who don't will certainly learn how good The Octopus is in a hurry.

#2. Gresham could take over the No Quarter Catch Crew

The No Quarter Catch Crew is a faction that resides on WWE NXT. While the stable was initially founded by Drew Gulak, the current iteration features Charlie Dempsey, Tavion Heights, Wren Sinclair, and Myles Borne.

This version of the No Quarter Catch Crew is much different from the one Gulak once led. Despite Charlie Dempsey attempting to make the faction serious, it is far more comedic thanks primarily to Wren, but also Myles. The two add a lot of humor to the stable.

That could change in 2025, however. Gresham could join WWE and take over the stable. He is known for his no-nonsense style with brilliant technical ability. If he takes the lead, Jonathan could help the other members become better and make the No Quarter Catch Crew truly dominant.

#1. He and Jordynne Grace could be targeted by Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio

The Judgment Day is on fire right now in WWE. After Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were kicked out of the stable, the group has expanded. The stable now includes Liv Morgan, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez.

The couple of The Judgment Day are Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Dirty Dom dumped Rhea Ripley to be with The Miracle Kid and the duo have been facing The Eradicator's wrath ever since then. But sooner or later, the feud will have to end and the duo of Liv and Dom will need new targets.

Jonathan Gresham isn't the only person who may join the company in 2025. Jordynne Grace's contract with TNA Wrestling allegedly expires at the beginning of the year. If she also joins WWE, the married couple could end up feuding with Dominik and Liv. The cocky Judgment Day members battling two jacked veterans would make for a great contrast and something quite entertaining.
