WWE under Triple H's leadership has stepped up its game in signing free agents this year by recruiting big names like Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu, and more. The latest reports suggest that the company is not done adding talent to the roster and will look to get multiple AEW stars whose contracts are expiring soon.

A couple of ex-AEW stars such as Shawn Spears and Ethan Page, joined WWE after their contracts expired. It seems like they won't be the last considering there are a bunch of stars who haven't inked a new deal with the Tony Khan-led company.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, several sources told him that there is "certain interest" in a handful of AEW stars. These stars are either on an expiring contract or have not been used on television.

Some of the talents mentioned were Ricky Starks and Daniel Garcia. Starks reportedly has an expiring deal and has not been on AEW TV since March. He's also a close friend of Cody Rhodes.

On the other hand, Garcia also hasn't signed an extension although he's been a regular on all AEW shows. This report about Starks and Garcia came out just a few days after The Lucha Bros, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr., were linked to a potential move to the Stamford-based wrestling company.

Former major WWE Superstar linked to AEW

There are a lot of former WWE Superstars currently signed to AEW, which was not surprising considering that there were a lot of talents available in the free-agent market in the past few years. But one surprising name that popped out recently and is linked to AEW is Shane McMahon.

WWE has always been synonymous with the McMahon name, however, Endeavor's takeover put an end to the previous regime. While Triple H serves as the CCO, there's not a single McMahon currently in a position of power in the company.

Shane-O-Mac has not appeared on television since tearing his quad at WrestleMania 39. He has since recovered and was recently spotted in a meeting room with Tony Khan. He has even confirmed the rumors although there is no update if the two sides will come to an agreement.
