The WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 5, 2024. A recent report has indicated which match would likely be the main event of the upcoming PLE.

As of now, matches that have been announced for Bad Blood are CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in Hell in a Cell, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship, and Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that, although unconfirmed, there is definite discussion about a main event match between The Scottish Warrior and The Second City Saint. The wrestling journalist noted the Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre would be a fitting choice for the main event of WWE Bad Blood.

WWE veteran points out major mistake with CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood

Pro wrestling veteran Bully Ray recently shared his opinion on the upcoming match between the former WWE World Champions, stating that Triple H is making a big mistake by putting The Second City Saint and The Scottish Warrior inside the steel structure.

On an episode of Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall of Famer suggested that Drew McIntyre and CM Punk should compete in an "I Quit" match rather than a Hell in a Cell match. While Bully Ray didn't oppose the Hell in a Cell concept, he preferred the match to be without excessive gimmicked weapons.

"I don't know if the Cell is the best utilization of a gimmick match for these two guys. I'm also not a fan when there are gimmicks in the Cell. The Cell is the gimmick. The cell is the weapon. I don't like it when there's use of, there could be a table under the ring and you have access to it. But I'm not a fan of too many gimmicks within the Cell. Maybe one, but it should be the structure that is so intimidating, the structure that is so dangerous. The structure that they talk, 'Oh my God. Hell in a Cell. The most dangerous match.' Like how the way they describe it on commentary, 'It takes years off of your career.' The Cell this and that. Is it really about the Cell or is it about the gimmicks that are in the Cell?" Ray said.
