Solo Sikoa completely took over The Bloodline in Roman Reigns' absence, but things could take a turn en route to SummerSlam. While many are waiting for The Head of the Table to return and confront his cousin, it's possible that he could retaliate by sending somebody close to the former North American Champion.

Fans last saw Roman Reigns in action at WrestleMania 40 where he failed to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. Since then, Solo Sikoa changed The Bloodline's lineup by kicking out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and recruited Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. With SummerSlam approaching, many theorize that the original Tribal Chief could return soon. However, he could let Jimmy take his spotlight and revenge first.

For this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are set to compete in a Number One Contender's Gauntlet match for the Tag Team Championship. Since the episode was taped last week, it was already revealed that The Bloodline won and is now set to challenge DIY for the title. However, Jimmy could ensure the duo's big plans for a championship will stop there.

In April, it was reported that Jimmy was written off from television as he suffered an injury. Fortunately, recent reports indicate that he is already medically cleared to return. With this in mind, it's possible that he could cost The Bloodline their match against Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. Later, he could also reveal that Roman Reigns sent him for Solo.

In this way, Jimmy won't have to share the spotlight with his cousin for his return and will give fans something to look forward to at SummerSlam without outright revealing Roman Reigns will return.

What other role could Roman Reigns play at WWE SummerSlam?

While Roman's presence at SummerSlam remains unclear, Solo is set for one of his biggest matches. For next week's Premium Live Event, he will face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, Reigns could ensure that his cousin won't be successful with it.

Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts shared on the Notsam Wrestling podcast that the former Undisputed Champion could return at the event and help Cody Rhodes against the current leader of The Bloodline. However, the analyst added that he still preferred if The American Nightmare could retain the title on his own.
