Roman Reigns stepped up to The Bloodline at SummerSlam 2024 to regain his status as the Original Tribal Chief. However, the group assaulted him on WWE SmackDown and forced him out of action.

With the blue brand set to premiere on the USA Network this Friday, the Original Tribal Chief could make his return on the show. Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a Steel Cage Match in the main event, so the chances of The OTC's return are higher than ever.

With that being said, here are three ways Roman Reigns could return on WWE SmackDown this week:

#3. Roman Reigns returns with Hikuleo on SmackDown

Roman Reigns was all on his own during his last brawl with The Bloodline. The numbers game gave Solo Sikoa and his men the upper hand, which is why the Original Tribal Chief needs backup when he returns.

He may return with Hikuleo, the adopted son of WWE legend Haku, in the main event of SmackDown to crash Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa. The six-foot-eight-inch giant could break into the steel cage and attack the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief while Reigns deals with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu outside.

After the match is over, Reigns could step inside the ring to get the Ula Fala back from his cousin.

#2. Roman Reigns challenges Solo Sikoa to a match at WWE Bad Blood

If Roman Reigns doesn't have any backup, he may avoid crossing paths with The Bloodline on SmackDown. The erstwhile Big Dog may just cut a standard promo in which he could challenge Solo Sikoa to a match at WWE Bad Blood next month.

Another possibility could be the Original Tribal Chief appearing on the Titantron during the main event to distract his cousin and help Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

#1. Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso crash the main event of SmackDown

Jimmy Uso is the only pro wrestler from The Original Bloodline who remained loyal to Roman Reigns until the end. The former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion will likely be the first star to reunite with the Original Tribal Chief in the latter's rivalry with Solo Sikoa and Co. Notably, Jimmy was booted out of the heel faction on the April 12, 2024, episode of the Friday Night Show and has since been inactive.

Both Reigns and Jimmy returning together to crash the main event of SmackDown would be a massive way to kick the USA Network era of the blue brand. They could take out Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu outside the steel cage to distract Solo Sikoa, and then go after the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.

After Cody Rhodes retains his title, Reigns and Jimmy could beat down Sikoa and officially declare war on The New Bloodline. This may also lead to Jimmy Uso becoming Roman Reigns' new Enforcer.
