Roman Reigns' SummerSlam return will change the landscape of the Stamford-based promotion all over again. He did the same when he returned as a heel in 2020. The impact of him returning as babyface could be much bigger! In fact, it's possible that the impact won't just be limited to SmackDown, but will spread to RAW as well.

The Tribal Chief is expected to return to WWE against Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline. Moreover, he is also expected to reunite with Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso and form a babyface version of The Bloodline. Sami Zayn might also join Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. However, as The Judgment Day is currently focused on assaulting Jey Uso and the current Intercontinental Champion on RAW, Reigns can make a pact with Rhea Ripley about ensuring Uso and Zayn's protection.

Reigns will need Uso and Zayn in their best form when The Bloodline's Civil War comes around, and he needs Ripley to make sure The Judgment Day steers clear of the duo.

A pact between Roman and Rhea post-SummerSlam can open up the avenues for The Bloodline and The Judgment Day to work together. Not only can Mami help The Head of The Table and Jey Uso, but the face version of The Bloodline can help The Judgment Day against top RAW Superstars such as CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and of course, Seth Rollins.

On the other hand, If Reigns and Ripley make a pact, it will work out even if The Nightmare leaves the heel faction. The Judgment Day members will not lay a hand on Rhea Ripley even if they split up. This makes it easier for her to act as a shield for Jey and Sami. In return, The Tribal Chief can provide his assistance to The Eradicator wherever needed.

Matt Camp believes Roman Reigns will become a bigger babyface than Cody Rhodes following SummerSlam

When The Tribal Chief was working as a heel, he truly mastered the art of how to have a command over the WWE Universe. He was the face of the company throughout his heel years, and his limited appearances strengthened his character's aura.

Once Reigns returns to WWE at SummerSlam, he will be portraying a babyface. As per Matt Camp, Reigns will become a bigger face than Cody Rhodes, but Rhodes' stardom as a babyface will also be intact.

"Cody's gonna be over no matter what. But I'm so intrigued to see how things shake out when Roman is back because I think Roman can be a bigger babyface than Cody, which is, by the way, an unbelievable thing for WWE to have. To have ready-to-go, now is the time [for] Roman Reigns massive babyface run and to have Cody on the run that he's still on that is still very hot, to have both of those things at the same time, that has only happened a handful of times in history."

There is a possibility that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will join forces at some point to handle Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline.
