Roman Reigns finally made his much-anticipated return to WWE in the main event of SummerSlam 2024 tonight. The Original Tribal Chief laid out Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch and a Spear to help Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. He stared at his former rival as he walked towards the stage.

So without further ado, let's take a look at five possible directions for Roman Reigns following his comeback at WWE SummerSlam.

#5 Roman Reigns joins WWE RAW

Roman Reigns was a major part of WWE RAW for years, but he became the face of SmackDown when he was drafted to the blue brand in 2019. The former Undisputed WWE Champion is currently a free agent as his Wiseman Paul Heyman pulled him out of this year's Draft.

With RAW set to move to Netflix in January 2025, Triple H may have Reigns join the red brand. A megastar like him leading the Monday night show would earn the Stamford-based promotion many new fans.

Moreover, Roman Reigns' former Bloodline teammates Sami Zayn and Jey Uso are currently a part of RAW. He could join the brand to mend fences with them for the inevitable war with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in the future.

#4 Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso go after the WWE Tag Team Title

The Bloodline ended DIY's WWE Tag Team Championship reign on the SmackDown before SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns may team up with a returning Jimmy Uso to go after Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu's title. The Original Tribal Chief may want to destroy the new Bloodline from its roots, so he may go after Solo Sikoa's Enforcer and Right Hand Man first.

Reigns has only held the Tag Team Title once in his career when he was a part of The Shield. Two prominent wrestlers of the original Bloodline going after Tonga and Fatu would give a big boost to the tag team division as well.

#3 Reigns forms a new Bloodline on SmackDown

Roman Reigns manipulated and controlled every member of his Bloodline during his reign as The Tribal Chief. So, it may not be very easy for him to mend fences with Jey Uso and Sami Zayn.

If his former Right Hand Man and Honorary Uce refuse to reunite with him, he could form a new version of The Bloodline to take on Solo Sikoa and his men.

Reigns could include Jimmy Uso, Paul Heyman, and Hikuleo in his Bloodline. He could even bring in more members later like Zilla Fatu, the son of WWE legend Umaga.

It is also possible that he pulls Jacob Fatu to his side, as Solo Sikoa's Enforcer has teased betraying his Tribal Chief in the past.

#2 Three-way feud for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Cody Rhodes could not defeat Solo Sikoa on his own at SummerSlam as The Bloodline outnumbered him. Although he got help from Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, The American Nightmare almost lost the title due to Jacob Fatu's attack.

It was Roman Reigns' assault on Solo Sikoa that helped Rhodes retain the title. The Original Tribal Chief never got a rematch for the gold he lost at WrestleMania XL and he also helped Rhodes retain at The Biggest Party of the Summer. These are two big reasons he could use to demand a shot at the title.

Reigns also had a stare-down with Rhodes after his return, so their rivalry may not be over yet.

Therefore, WWE could book a Triple Threat match between Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at Bash in Berlin later this month.

#1 Hell in a Cell match with Solo Sikoa at Bad Blood

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa's rivalry will surely become one of the most heated ones in WWE this year.

The Stamford-based promotion is bringing back the Bad Blood Premium Live Event in October, which is expected to feature a few Hell in a Cell matches. Reigns and Sikoa's first singles bout happening there is a good possibility as this would allow WWE to invest enough time in their feud.

A Hell in a Cell match would be fitting for the feud and it would also plant the seeds for the inevitable Bloodline Civil War at Survivor Series: WarGames in November.
