Tonight's WWE SmackDown will feature several high-stakes matches, exciting promos, and other possible surprises from Nick Aldis. Interestingly, one of the segments that the General Manager can showcase tonight is welcoming his brand's newest addition.

Many fans are looking forward to the upcoming WWE SmackDown episode after what transpired at the 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event, mainly revolving around the main event. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu to close the show, but one of the most talked about moments was the return of Jimmy Uso. Jimmy helped his cousin and the Undisputed WWE Champion to take out The Bloodline. Tonight, Nick Aldis can make the returning star's stay on the brand official.

Solo Sikoa kicked Uso out of The Bloodline after WrestleMania XL and replaced him with Tama Tonga, which meant the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion wasn't part of the 2024 Draft that occurred in late April. During his absence, Jimmy became a nomad without a brand and since he returned at a premium live event, he is still considered a free agent. However, the blue brand General Manager can change that status tonight on WWE SmackDown by officially adding Uso to his roster.

For those unaware, Randy Orton was in a similar situation last year. After his absence in 2022, The Viper returned at the 2023 Survivor Series and was only officially welcomed to the blue brand on the first week of December.

Will The Rock also be returning at WWE SmackDown tonight alongside Jimmy Uso?

In addition to the former Undisputed Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso, another real-life Bloodline member who returned at the recent premium live event was The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson made a brief appearance at the end of the tag team match and had a tense stare-down with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. However, unlike Jimmy, The Great One is not expected to appear on tonight's episode.

After Bad Blood, Dwayne Johnson made a post on his social media where he stated how the show wasn't over until The Final Boss said so, ending it with the phrase "See ya down the road," possibly signifying that while he is involved with the storyline, his return at the PLE was just a one-off, and it might be a while before we see The Rock again.

It will be interesting to see what Nick Aldis has prepared for WWE SmackDown tonight.
