The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown from the Colonial Life Arena in Washington D.C. will be another week of the promotion building towards the Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. On the blue brand, several segments are expected to take place, which will build towards the PLE.

One such segment could involve SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announcing a high-stakes triple-threat match for the show in Saudi Arabia. This potential triple-threat match could feature the United States Champion LA Knight, Andrade, and Carmelo Hayes.

On the upcoming episode of SmackDown, Andrade and Hayes are set to compete in their seventh match. As of now, the series between them is tied at 3-3, and the upcoming match will not only decide who wins tha match but will also determine who will challenge Knight for his United States Championship.

On the blue brand, WWE could book an angle in which the match between Andrade and Hayes could end in a draw. This draw would mean the series is tied, and hence, there is no decisive winner and challenger for Knight. This potential outcome would then lead to Aldis booking a triple-threat match at WWE Crown Jewel.

All in all, this is mere speculation at the moment. It will be interesting to see what goes down on SmackDown tonight.

Wrestling veteran criticized WWE's decision to book LA Knight against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes.

Since LA Knight beat Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024 to win the United States Championship, he has yet to indulge in a big rivalry. Currently, Knight will either be booked against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, and this is something a wrestling veteran does not like.

During an episode of his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Cornette mentioned that Knight's storyline against Hayes and Andrade is not helping the United States Champion in any way. The veteran said:

"My takeaway was dealing with these two f*cking schlubs does nothing for LA Knight. He got so over and everybody else was so over. He was interacting with other people that were so over. Now he's stuck here with these cretins."

Check out what Jim Cornette said about Knight's storyline with Andrade and Hayes in the video below:

As of now, it looks like WWE is going ahead with booking LA Knight against either Hayes or Andrade.
