A former WWE Superstar revealed that he had contacted a well-known attorney to reveal information about Vince McMahon. However, he was warned not to go after the former chairman.

After leading the Stamford-based company for decades, McMahon left the promotion earlier this year amid being sued for alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking by former employee Janel Grant. On the Power & Glory podcast, former WWE star Paul Roma disclosed that he wanted to speak up against the chairman after leaving the company in 1991. He even contacted a well-known attorney from New York. However, the latter advised him not to do it.

The 65-year-old revealed that the attorney warned him that he would be putting his family in danger if he decided to reveal the information he had against the chairman:

"I met with an attorney, a pretty big hitter out of New York City. He came down to Connecticut to talk to me. Told him I had something going on and it was about Vince McMahon. And he basically said this to me: 'Think about what you just told me. This guy is connected. You have a wife and kids.' And he basically said to me that I need to understand that I can be putting my family in danger," he said.

The wrestling veteran recalled hearing a rumor that McMahon was connected to the Irish Mafia. Hence, he decided to listen to the attorney's advice as he feared for his wife and children's lives:

"Now, I've heard rumor, and again rumor, that he was connected, Vince that is, to the Irish mafia. That maybe true. I didn't know. Did I wanna find out after talking to that attorney? No, I don't want to put my kids in harm's way. If it was just me, myself, sure, then maybe I'm willing to take that chance. I mean, you're only so tough, you know what I mean? And you're not gonna stop a bullet other than it being inside you," Roma added. [43:00 - 44:01]

Ex-WWE star Mario Mancini claimed Vince McMahon had a known hitman

On a previous episode of the Power & Glory podcast, former WWE Superstar Mario Mancini was asked whether he ever feared for his life after siding with former referee Rita Chatterton in her case against Vince McMahon.

The 58-year-old claimed the former WWE Chairman had a known hitman who took care of his dirty work. However, he refused to name him, pointing out that he is still alive:

"There was only one known hitman for Vince. And he's still alive, so I really don't wanna say his name. But he took care of his dirty work. There's only one," he said.

Netflix recently dropped a docuseries documenting the "rise and fall" of Vince McMahon. The show discussed many topics, including Linda McMahon threatening to divorce him right before their daughter's wedding to Triple H.
