Bayley defeated Naomi on this week's episode of SmackDown to secure a shot at Nia Jax's WWE Women's Championship. However, her recent look has not gone down well with former WWE head writer Vince Russo.

The Role Model has been feuding with Nia Jax since losing the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2024. Bayley has also constantly altered her look, and her most recent haircut might not have been an instant hit.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown with Vince Russo podcast, the 63-year-old veteran briefly spoke about Bayley and wanted to know who convinced her about her current hairstyle.

Russo feared that fans might have contributed to Bayley's preference and wanted to know who thought it was a good idea in the first place.

"If you're responsible for this, be a man and step up and admit it was your idea. I'm going to be looking in the chat for your responses. Who told Bayley it was a good idea to shave the side of her head? Is there anybody in the chatroom right now who is responsible for telling Bayley that's a good look? Yeah, Bayley, go shave the side of your head; that's a great look for you," Vince Russo said. [16:48 - 17:27]

Russo was not a fan of Bayley's hairstyle and likened it to how young punk rock enthusiasts would probably look. The former WWE head writer added:

"You are a grown-ar*e adult; why are you shaving your head like a 16-year-old punk rocker? Can somebody explain that to me?" [18:07 - 18:20]
