Former WWE head Vince McMahon recently came under fire from Ronda Rousey, who had some tough words for him. However, a particular veteran does not exactly share in the sentiment.

Vince McMahon has been called out by Ronda quite a few times so far. In a recent interview, Rousey went as far as to say that McMahon was an "80-year-old a***ole." While a section of fans agree with her sentiment, Vince Russo does not want to partake in the loud McMahon shaming recently.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo explained that despite his complicated relationship with McMahon, he was not going to criticize him at this point.

"I read both (Ronda Rousey and Bret Hart) of their comments this week, and it bothered me. Bro, Chris, maybe it's me, call me crazy; I am not gonna kick a man when he is down. Whatever he did, whatever he is guilty of, we have seen him, he is not well, he is turning 79 years old. Bro, trust me, the man is gonna get what he has coming to him, there is no question about it... No matter what differences I have, no matter how much of a loser he told me I was, I can't find it at this point in his life to kick him when he is down." [2:17 onwards]

What did Bret Hart say about former WWE head Vince McMahon?

Bret Hart is certainly no fan of Vince McMahon, especially considering the events of the iconic Montreal Screwjob incident back in 1997.

In an interview on the Attitude Era podcast, Bret Hart did not mince words when talking about the WWE founder. He recalled the Montreal Screwjob incident and explained that he had no regrets about what he did.

"I knocked him [Vince McMahon] out with one punch and it was the greatest punch I ever threw. Absolutely beautiful uppercut right between his arms and I lifted him about a foot off the ground, broke my hand. But it was the sweetest punch I ever threw and I wouldn't change anything about it. Vince McMahon can rot in hell," Hart said. [From 12:47 to 13:10]
