WWE stars demand title match after two-month absence; furious about injury

This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw two stars return after a two-month absence. One of them had visibly sustained an injury to her nose. The names in question are Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

After Zoey Stark defeated her, the duo rushed into the arena when Pure Fusion Collective tried to gang up on Lyra Valkyria. Katana Chance was wearing a black nose protector, but this didn’t hinder her ability to neutralize all three members of the heel faction alongside Kayden Carter.

Following this, they were seen backstage, where Chance complained about the vicious injury she had received. The furious Chance and Kayden Carter also demanded a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, this demand brought out the previous holders of the belt, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, before them.

The Unholy Union asked them what made them think they could cut the line and demand a title shot. They also asserted that they’re the rightful holders of the belt and will dethrone current champs Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill very soon.

Later in the show, Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane and IYO SKY also applied for the open challenge issued by the Women’s Tag Team Champions. SKY pointed out how their team had defeated The Unholy Union and that she had defeated Belair in a singles match.

With the addition of Chance and Carter in the equation, it would be interesting to see what happens in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Division.
