The Bloodline has undergone several changes since Roman Reigns' last WWE appearance at WrestleMania XL. Vince Russo, WWE's head writer in the late 1990s, believes the new-look group needs more storyline depth.
Solo Sikoa recently replaced Roman Reigns as The Bloodline's Tribal Chief. The 31-year-old has recruited Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa as new faction members in recent months. He also kicked Reigns' special counsel Paul Heyman out of the group.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing With Russo show, Russo told host Dr. Chris Featherstone that fans need to know more about the new Bloodline members. He argued that the Stamford-based promotion hadn't delved into any of the character's individualities yet. He also felt that this was something fans were interested in and not paying attention to that side of things could hurt the group eventually.
"Learn a little bit about them. We had this conversation week one. They need to be individuals. We need to know a little bit about each one, man. They're not doing that at all. Especially Jacob Fatu, at least he looks a little different. The other two could be The Usos. I mean, they look alike, they've got the same builds. Bro, we've gotta make them individuals, man. You've gotta tell us something about these guys, bro." [4:48 – 5:22]

Vince Russo thinks The Bloodline can learn from iconic TV shows
In the 1990s, Friends and South Park were two of the most popular American television shows. The first episode of both shows told viewers about the main characters' backstories and contrasting personalities.
Using Friends and South Park as examples, Vince Russo explained why WWE needs to provide fans with more information about The Bloodline:
"I dare anybody to do this. Bro, you go back and watch the first episode of Friends. You know by the time that 30 minutes ends, you know who those six friends are. You know something about every single one of those individuals in the first 30 minutes of the show. This is a television show, bro, and characters have to be treated [carefully]. Bro, South Park! The first time you saw South Park, you knew episode one who Cartman was. Here we are how many months into this, we know nothing about these guys, bro," he said. [6:52 – 7:30]
On July 6, The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, and Tama Tonga) defeated Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton at Money in the Bank. Sikoa is expected to challenge Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam on August 3.
