A WWE Hall of Famer reacted to CM Punk being labeled as a "cancer" in the locker room. The Second City Saint will be sending a message to Drew McIntyre later tonight on RAW.

Speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, wrestling legend Bully Ray shared his thoughts on Punk being referred to as a "cancer" in the locker room. Ray stated that was not the case, and that the former AEW World Champion is passionate about the business.

"Do I think CM Punk is a cancer in the pro wrestling locker room? Absolutely not. CM Punk is a guy who is passionate about the professional wrestling business. He is passionate about what he does. He is direct; he is intense. He knows what he brings to the table, and he expects you to bring something to the table too," he said.

The veteran also pointed out that Punk must not be that difficult to work with backstage, as his current WWE run has been incredibly successful.

"If CM Punk was such a ‘cancer,’ how come things are going so well for him right now in WWE?" he added. [H/T: Inside the Ropes]

CM Punk reveals WWE application blows his mind

RAW star CM Punk disclosed that the company's internal app has a tab where employees can request a day off, and he was blown away by the discovery.

During an interview with The Masked Man at Fanatics Fest NYC, the former AEW star discussed the promotion's internal app and claimed he was "flabbergasted" that it allows employees to request time off. He noted that the business is much different nowadays and praised the promotion's current roster.

"What I think is now in place is a system and management that understands that [burnout]. The talent, again, is so rich that if Cody Rhodes needs a show off, he can take that day off. If I need a day off, I can take that day off. I’m still flabbergasted there’s a tab on the WWE app that you can click, and you can request days off, and it still, brother, it still blows my mind. [laughs] It’s a brave new world," CM Punk said. [From 20:56 to 21:27]
