WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has explained why a spot in a match on this week's RAW made him think about Hulk Hogan. He was referring to the Gunther vs. Sami Zayn bout.

The two stars collided for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the red brand show this past Monday night. The Ring General hit Zayn with a powerbomb but couldn't finish the job. He hit the latter with another powerbomb and Sami kicked out at one this time. Gunther won the match after locking in the sleeper hold.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that Sami Zayn kicking out at one was reminiscent of Hulk Hogan 'Hulking Up' and kicking out of big moves during his matches.

"Sami Zayn kicked out at one...Who do we remember is the first person that you ever saw kick out at one?" Bully Ray asked. "Wasn't it Hulk [Hogan at WrestleMania III]? To my memory too... Hulk made the kickout at one 'a thing,' where all of the sudden, he came to life. Gunther hit two huge moves on Sami and Sami kicks [out] at one like he got a shot of adrenaline." Hulk Hogan thinks Logan Paul should become world champion in WWE this year

The Maverick is a former United States Champion, and he held the title for several months. He lost it to LA Knight at SummerSlam, which was the last time he wrestled in WWE.

Hulk Hogan stated on IMPAULSIVE last month that Logan Paul has what it takes to be a world champion.

"You got an opportunity to do that, brother, because you should not be any type of champion except the world's champion at this point. You need to make that quick transition and if they're smart, and Triple H is smart, that transition needs to be made this year," said Hogan.

The current world champions in WWE are Cody Rhodes and Gunther, and it doesn't seem like either of them will be dropping their titles before the year ends.
