WWE Hall of Famer comments on segment where Trish Stratus was suddenly replaced by Rikishi (Exclusive)

Multi-time women's champion Trish Stratus was supposed to be involved in a controversial segment several years ago. However, she was replaced by Rikishi. A WWE Hall of Famer has now commented on this segment.

WWE Hall of Famer JBL recently commented on a Trish Stratus segment from SmackDown in 2001. During the show, Vince was supposed to kiss Jim Ross' derriere but was stopped by The Rock. The Great One told him that he would instead be kissing Trish Stratus' derriere.

This made the former WWE Chairman very happy. He was excited and ready when the Brahma Bull stopped him again. Instead, he brought out Rikishi to replace Stratus. Mr McMahon refused to do it, so The Rock hit him with a Rock Bottom and forced him to kiss Rikishi's backside.

This whole segment was discussed during a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's What Were They Thinking with JBL and Brisco. JBL mentioned that he loved the segment and called it one of the greatest scenes since McMahon thought he was about to kiss the derriere of one of the prettiest women in wrestling but then got swerved.

Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was last seen inside a WWE ring when she took on Becky Lynch inside a Steel Cage at Payback in September 2023. It remains to be seen whether she will return to the ring soon.
