WWE is set to invade Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for three big events at the Scotiabank Arena this weekend. It will mark the first-ever Money in the Bank in Canada and the first Heatwave to air from The Great White North.

Money in the Bank Weekend begins on Friday with the go-home SmackDown episode. The premium live event will take place on Saturday, and then NXT Heatwave will be set for Sunday. This will be the third annual NXT Heatwave and the 10th overall Heatwave event, with the first seven hosted by the original ECW. WWE revived the Heatwave name for NXT TV specials in 2022 and 2023, but now they are using the name for a PLE.

Karmen Petrovic and Arianna Grace have had their share of issues lately. However, the Canadian Superstars were not happy with WWE failing to book them on the PLE card in Toronto, where Grace was born, and Petrovic moved when she was a child. The two were interrupted by Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx on NXT this week, and then Jayne helped Nyx defeat Petrovic in singles action.

NXT General Manager Ava has now booked Grace and Petrovic vs. Jayne and Nyx in tag team action. The match will air on Sunday's Countdown to Heatwave pre-show.

"Petrovic and Grace are nowhere close to being allies, but both lamented that they’d be missing NXT Heatwave in their home country of Canada. Their conversation was interrupted by Jayne and Nyx, and after a controversial one-on-one match between Petrovic and Nyx, Ava announced that the Toronto natives would be teaming up. Can Petrovic and Grace put aside their differences for one night, or will Jayne and Nyx continue to run roughshod?" reads the official match preview. [H/T WWE.com]

Peacock is scheduled to air the Countdown to Heatwave pre-show at 6 pm ET on Sunday. The main Heatwave PLE will then begin at 7 pm ET.
