The bout took place in Johnny Wrestling's hometown of Cleveland, and it was also the main event of the show. The Samoan Werewolf was forced to relinquish his share of the title to Tonga Loa so he could serve as Solo Sikoa's enforcer.

After this week's episode of SmackDown ended, WWE posted a video on X of DIY vowing to take back the WWE Tag Team Championship. Johnny Gargano said they would fix what happened in Cleveland.

"Bloodline no more surprises. Uh-uh. Anytime, any place. We promise you this - we're going to take those tag team titles back from the grasp of The Bloodline," said Ciampa.
"We're gonna fix what happened in Cleveland. We're gonna do whatever it takes to get those WWE Tag Team Tiles back where they belong," said Gargano.
"Whatever. It. Takes," concluded Ciampa.

It DIY become the #1 contender for the WWE Tag Team Titles, it'll be interesting to see whether they will dethrone The Bloodline.
