Maxxine Dupri is a young WWE star on the rise. Her performances of late have especially been noteworthy. This has much to do with the fact that she is part of a bigger storyline, which is the budding issues between the original members of the Alpha Academy: Chad Gable and Otis.
At Clash at the Castle: Scotland in Glasgow this past weekend, Master Gable challenged Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. The title contest was very story-driven. In the final act of the bout, Gable accidentally tackled Maxxine after getting shoved onto her by Zayn outside the ring.
Otis had not seen what happened, leading to a tense moment between him and Gable. The former Money in the Bank winner was already not too pleased with his friend and guide, as WWE has been teasing an implosion for weeks on end. He wound up carrying Maxxine Dupri to the back away from the danger, as Sami took advantage of the situation and scored the pinfall victory over the Alpha Academy leader.

Dupri was the first one who showed defiance to Master Gable, but she continued to stay with Alpha Academy and obey orders. The question of whether the split happens as soon as this week's WWE RAW makes the upcoming episode exciting. Gable broke his silence after Clash at the Castle: Scotland on social media, wishing a Happy Father's Day from his "family" to everyone.
Triple H hopes Chad Gable stays with WWE forever
During the post-show press conference, Triple H addressed Chad Gable's future in the Stamford-based promotion. The latter had disclosed a day before the show that he had re-signed with the company. Gable further spoke extensively about the Chief Content Officer and how much the latter had delivered on promises.
Triple H was humbled by the praise directed at him by Gable. He then admitted that it would make him very sad if the former three-time WWE Tag Team Champion moved on to another company. This is because the Alpha Academy leader is a crucial part of the new era of storytelling and approach towards the wrestling business. He concluded by adding that he hopes Chad Gable stays with WWE forever.
Chad Gable is yet to win a singles title. He had many attempts thus far to become Intercontinental Champion but could not get the job done. Zayn signaled that Gable's chances were over after this encounter over the weekend. Whether Gable manages to win the Intercontinental Championship ultimately bears watching.
