WWE surprisingly dropped a huge tease related to a major star to close out the 2024 NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event. The star being referred to is TNA's Joe Hendry.
Hendry was one of the few names to show up in World Wrestling Entertainment during the 25-Man Battle Royal to determine the challenger for Trick Williams' NXT Championship. Although the TNA star's debut on the developmental brand did not last long, he instantly became a fan favorite, and people started asking Shawn Michaels to feature him on future shows.
After the main event of NXT Heatwave, WWE dropped a huge bombshell as they showcased Joe Hendry's video, seemingly dropping a huge tease for the star's possible involvement in future shows of the white and gold brand.

Joe Hendry recently shared a wholesome story about John Cena and said that he believed he would cross paths with the 16-time World Champion soon.
Now that The Cenation Leader has announced that he would retire from in-ring competition at the end of 2025, it will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for Hendry and if he will be able to face Cena in a match on WWE television.
