This week, Erick Rowan, not Bo Dallas, was interviewed in the spooky Wyatt Sicks VHS tape. In his first interview since returning to WWE, the star revealed his heartbreaking reality.

WWE seems to be taking a different approach with the Wyatt Sicks. While it was assumed that the masks would be defining parts of their characters, it appears now that they represent the extension of each superstar's personality, especially Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas. A new VHS tape was delivered to The Pat McAfee Show this week.

In a heartbreaking interview, an unnamed voice, presumably Uncle Howdy, asked Erick Rowan how he had been. We haven't heard much from Rowan in the last few years. He had mostly taken a step back from the big stage of pro wrestling after the deaths of Brodie Lee (fka Luke Harper) in late 2020 and Bray Wyatt last year.

Erick Rowan revealed that it's been a hard few years and unveiled the heartbreaking reality of his life:

"The last few years have been very, very hard. You know I used to have a family. We were unstoppable. Inseparable. Always had each other's backs. And then one day. Poof! The whole world changed. I lost a brother. The person in the world who believed in me more than anybody else. Just gone. Knocked me on my a**, not going to lie... Just when I thought I had everything going, my elder brother, he was gone too. And then I had no more family, no more will... I felt catatonic, couldn't move, felt numb to everything, felt numb to the world, and who's going to miss me? I'm just Rowan." (0:13-2:28)

When given his sheep mask from his time in the Wyatt Family, Erick Rowan was asked what he thought of it. He said:

"It gives me hope. When I was at my lowest, he reached out to me and pulled me up. When he offered his hand, I accepted it. I knew I needed it. I knew I needed help. I got up, and now I had a purpose. A purpose in my life. A purpose to help those like myself. This reminds me of that beacon of hope. We're going to take our broken hearts and make a beautiful world." (2:50-3:44)

Things look like they're going to get very interesting. Erick Rowan's appearance wouldn't mark the end of the Wyatt Sicks tonight.
