A veteran has said that he would not accept a WWE Hall of Fame induction. He stated that it was not something that he wanted.

Vince Russo is an industry veteran who has remained a controversial personality in the world of wrestling. Working as the head writer in WWE, he would later go to WCW as well, and write and book the show, even winning the World Heavyweight Championship while being there, something that has gotten him a lot of heat.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Vince Russo mentioned the Hall of Fame and how many people he knows would give anything to be included in the elite club. However, the 63-year-old veteran said that while he knew that it would never happen anyway, he would turn down an invitation to the Hall of Fame and that he would not want to be there. He said that at the end of the day, that was his opinion.

"Bro, I know guys where the most important thing in their lives was getting into the WWE Hall of Fame. I would turn down an invitation. Not that it will ever happen, it won't, but I would turn down an invitation. That's me and my freaking opinion, bro," Vince Russo said. [19:05 - 19:31]

Vince Russo on WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi and the heat

Vince Russo had some criticism for Jey Uso and how he got too emotional in his promo after winning the Intercontinental Championship.

The veteran received criticism from The Yeet Master's father, Rikishi, as a result. Russo decided to react to what The Samoan Stinker had to say as well:

"I felt Rikishi got real personal. I didn't make anything personal with Jey Uso. None of it was personal. When you make it personal it's kinda like, 'Really? You gotta get all personal because Vince Russo had an opinion?' Okay." [From 13:45 onwards]

It remains to be seen if Rikishi has anything to say moving forward.
