Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon has been a hot topic recently after his Netflix docuseries release. According to a veteran, there is a certain parallel between McMahon and AEW owner Tony Khan, which makes them "insecure and delicate."

In the docuseries about Vince McMahon on Netflix, issues between him and his father popped up quite a few times. This has led to questions about how Vince had been trying to impress his father his entire life. According to former WWE head writer Vince Russo, this is a common thread that runs through a number of wrestling promoters.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo stated:

"That's an ongoing theme in wrestling. You know, Vince McMahon wanting to prove himself to his father. Shane McMahon wanting to prove himself to Vince McMahon. Dixie Carter wanting to prove herself to her father. Tony Khan... Like it's an ongoing theme. It just seems like just very, I don't know bro, just very insecure and delicate human beings for some reason getting involved in the wrong business." [7:51 onwards]

The WWE veteran thinks it is unwise to have these sentiments in the pro wrestling business

Vince Russo further talked about his relationship with his own father, claiming that he never faced these issues because of the bond they shared.

Adding to his comments on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the WWE veteran explained that these sentiments and problems would not be resolved by working harder in the wrestling business. He stated:

"Seriously like if that is what you are setting out to prove, I don't think the wrestling business is the place to prove it bro." [8:28 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for Vince McMahon and the case regarding the allegations.
