WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus seems to be angling for a return to the ring about a year after her last match at Payback 2023. Stratus also teased a potential feud with a 30-year-old star from RAW. This would be Zoey Stark.

The last time Stratus was inside the ring was in September last year at Payback when she lost to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match. She also served as the host of Money in the Bank last month in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.

In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the 48-year-old legend opened up about her potential return to the ring. She named Zoey Stark, her former protege who attacked her after her match against Lynch, as a potential target for a feud.

"When Zoey got introduced, I was very pleased with that. The chance to influence someone else's career, it means a lot. She was great to work with and she loved to learn. And there is more to the story between me and Zoey Stark," Stratus said. [H/T - Sports Illustrated]

If Trish Stratus wants to target Zoey Stark, she will need backup since the 30-year-old star is currently in a trio with Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville. They have been wreaking havoc on the red brand before Damage CTRL, as well as the trio Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Cater, said enough is enough last week on WWE RAW.

Trish Stratus explains why a return is possible

In the same interview with Sports Illustrated, Trish Stratus explained why a WWE return was not impossible. Stratus stated that she enjoyed her time as host of Money in the Bank, while also being interested in influencing another generation of future superstars.

"Cody isn't the only one with an unfinished story. I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I'll still keep going. I'll never half-a** it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we'll see," Stratus said. [H/T - Sports Illustrated]

The seven-time WWE Women's Champion returned as a full-time performer last year although her run lasted only around six months. At the age of 48, she has nothing left to prove although the prospect of inspiring the next era of women's wrestlers is a great motivator.
