Triple H had major praise for shocking WWE RAW angle

The WWE RAW brand has had significant momentum as the company approaches the kickoff to the Netflix era in January. The red brand's creative boost has seemingly led to memorable moments every single week. Triple H recently made very curious remarks to a RAW Superstar while backstage.

Bronson Reed has brought mayhem to RAW. The Australian Superstar recently promised to carve his own path after failing to win the Intercontinental Championship and qualify for Money in the Bank. Reed's push began by defeating Pete Dunne and then losing to Sheamus, but he got that win back two weeks later. After expressing frustration at a lack of opportunities the next week, Reed leveled Seth Rollins with a sneak attack. Rollins fought back but the shocking segment ended with six Tsunami splashes from Reed.

The King Of Monsters continued his destruction while defeating The Miz twice. He battled Braun Strowman to a draw, setting up the Last Monster Standing match on September 30. Rollins made his surprise return, taking out Reed to help Strowman win. The initial six Tsunamis segment is viewed by many as Reed's biggest impact in so far, and Triple H seems to agree, according to Reed.

WWE's Chief Content Officer spoke with Reed after the Rollins angle and explained why this moment will last forever in history. In a new Chris Van Vliet interview, Bronson said he hopes this is his version of Steve Austin's legendary 3:16 promo at King of the Ring 1996. The 36-year-old was asked if this was his career-defining moment.

"I think so for sure. I spoke with Hunter right afterwards and he said that’s a moment that will last forever, they can replay that as much as possible. For me, it’s nowhere near as good, because he’s one of the best ever, but it’s like Stone Cold at King of the Ring doing the 3:16 line. You instantly remember that promo, you instantly remember a switch [to] his character, where it went from then. I’m hoping people remember the six Tsunamis as something similar," Reed said. The Top Dog issued a savage threat to Rollins after his return, while WWE revealed The Architect's unseen taunt to Reed. Rollins said on this week's RAW that he will face Reed any time, any place.

WWE reportedly has major plans for Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is expected to wrestle Bronson Reed for the first time soon, perhaps at Crown Jewel on November 2. However, this is not The Visionary's biggest feud in the works.

WWE has teased Rollins vs. CM Punk for many months, returning to Punk's Survivor Series 2023 return. After recent teasers and a brief staredown on Monday's RAW, word came down that Punk vs. Rollins is still being planned, likely for WrestleMania 41.

Punk and Rollins have shared the ring more than twenty-five times since 2012, but they worked just one singles match. Punk defeated Rollins on December 30, 2013, in the 18-minute RAW opener.
