Trick Williams defeated Ethan Page to become the new WWE NXT Champion during the show's premiere on CW Network. With a victory, Williams marked the beginning of his second NXT Title reign, with the WWE Universe rallying behind him.
Williams and Page have had a massive feud in the past few months. Both men faced off in a singles match with the NXT Title on the line this week on the show, with special guest referee CM Punk manning the proceedings. In what was arguably one of the best matches fans have seen in a long time, Williams ended up on the winning side.
Following his second NXT Title victory, Trick Williams took to Instagram to send out a three-word message to his fans.

Ethan Page blamed CM Punk for his WWE NXT title loss
While Trick Williams has been celebrating his massive victory during NXT's CW premiere, Ethan Page has been outraged and has blamed CM Punk for his loss at the show.
In a recent social media post, Page has referenced Punk's backstage controversies in AEW and taken a shot at the former WWE Champion. Referring to his altercations with The Elite and Jack Perry in AEW, Page wrote Punk was known for ruining locker rooms, but now The Second City Saint has ruined Page's life too.
"He’s been known to ruin locker rooms. Didn’t know he’d ruin my life too," he wrote.

During the match, Punk and Page entered into a heated argument which ended up with the Best in the World delivering a 'Go To Sleep' to the former champion.
CM Punk is now set to face Drew McIntyre inside the unforgiving Hell in a Cell structure at Bad Blood 2024. On the other hand, it seems like the Ethan Page - Trick Williams rivalry is over. Fans will now have to wait and see what Shawn Michaels has in store for both Williams and Page in the next few weeks.
