WWE Superstar LA Knight successfully defended his United States Title on the latest episode of SmackDown. His opponent, Andrade, has sent a strong message on social media after failing to capture the gold from The Megastar.

Fresh off his three victories over Carmelo Hayes in five encounters, Andrade entered the US Championship match against Knight with significant momentum. The former AEW star's dominance over Melo culminated in a title match offer from The Megastar.

The stars engaged in a thrilling match on the September 20, 2024, edition of SmackDown, but LA Knight emerged victorious and retained his United States Championship.

After a heartbreaking defeat, Andrade took to X (Twitter) and emphasized the importance of maintaining a beginner's mindset during practice. El Idolo also shared a series of pictures, showcasing his impressive Moonsault maneuver that he has performed in various countries.

"The goal of practice is always to keep our beginner’s mind! The names in different countries. Mexico: PECHO CON PECHO O MORTAL. Japón: LA QUEBRADA. USA: MOONSAULT!" he wrote.

Wrestling veteran says WWE must give Andrade a shot to become the next Eddie Guerrero

On the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry admired Andrade's wrestling abilities, comparing the 34-year-old SmackDown Superstar to legendary wrestlers like Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle.

The World's Strongest Man claimed that El Idolo had the potential to reach such heights, and suggested WWE give him a year to showcase his skills.

"Andrade, I respect you, gangster. I saw who you are. He's beyond elite. He is a super wrestler. I told Denise that he's one of those guys that sometimes you scrap everything, and you say, 'You know what? Imma [sic] just give it a year. Imma give it one year; Imma see if he can be Eddie Guerrero. Imma give it one year; Imma see if he can be Kurt Angle!' Because I think that Andrade can be," he said.

Meanwhile, Andrade will lock horns with Carmelo Hayes in the sixth match of their ongoing series this Friday. It will be interesting to see what the Triple H-led creative team has in store for the former AEW star in the coming months.
