While the pro-wrestling world and WWE has never been short of gorgeous women, a wrestling veteran believes two names in particular take the cake, including Nancy Benoit.

Before the discontinuation of the 'Diva' branding in 2016, the presentation of women in wrestling was heavily centered on their visual beauty. Hence, most superstars and even managers were viewed in a similar manner. Bill Apter, being a veteran in the industry, has his own favorites.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's Wrestling Time Machine, the legendary journalist finally revealed his picks for the most beautiful names in the industry. He stated:

"Off the top of my head there is two people. The first one, I knew her since she was a teenager and she was so gorgeous and so talented. That was Nancy Benoit. I thought she was not just beautiful but she had the personality to match with that. I miss her very much. And the other one, and this I don't know if it would surprise anybody that I did a bunch of christmas interviews with her years ago, and I did the very first set with her and she was just inducted into the IMPACT/TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame, that was Traci Brooks. I thought, drop dead gorgeous, beautiful, very charming, so those are my two hotties." [From 00:53 to 01:42]

Nancy Benoit met a tragic end at the age of 43

While Nancy could have had a fruitful career in the pro wrestling business, she met an untimely demise in one of the most tragic incidents in wrestling history.

In the well-documented case, Chris Benoit was found after unalived his wife and son, Daniel, in June 2007. He then committed suicide. At the time, Benoit was employed by WWE and was slated to have a premium live event match. Instead, he was replaced by Johnny Nitro, who became the ECW World Champion.

The Canadian wrestler's end is still a very controversial topic in the pro wrestling world, owing to the bizarre nature of the incident.
