WWE is flooded with several popular and notable teams across both brands on the main roster. Konnan recently detailed why The Street Profits should split up, as management is wasting Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford's potential in the tag team division.

The Street Profits received new life on WWE's main roster when they moved to Friday Night SmackDown and aligned with Bobby Lashley. However, the heel run went nowhere, and they returned to their old ways. Lately, the duo has been stuck in limbo alongside B-Fab in Lashley's absence from the company.

Speaking on Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan detailed why The Street Profits should split up and start their journeys as single competitors. The veteran also stated that Montez Ford could be a big star in the company.

"You and I've been saying this for a long time; why the heck is [Montez] Ford not a singles star? I mean, he has so much charisma, a good-looking guy, and is in great shape. I mean, he's got everything you want when they talk about, 'Oh, you don't push enough black talent'. You got one staring at you right in the face, and I guarantee you [Angelo] Dawkins would not do bad by himself either," Konnan said. (From 02:10 to 02:32)

After praising both stars, the veteran also stated that both could make more money as singles stars than working in the tag team division.

"[Montez] Ford's gotta know that just like his wife Bianca [Belair], he can be a singles star where there's more money as being a singles star and more merch. Why he would want to stay in a team that's not being used right is beyond me," Konnan said. (From 02:50 to 03:06)

Street Profits hasn't held championships in WWE since 2021

In 2019, Street Profits broke out as a credible tag team on WWE's developmental brand as they captured the NXT Tag Team Championship in a ladder match. After losing the titles, they were quickly moved to the main roster.

Later, they won the RAW Tag Team Championship and remained champions for a little over half a year before they exchanged their brand-exclusive title for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with The New Day.

In January 2021, the dream run ended for Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford as they lost the title. It's been over three years, and the two haven't held championship gold in WWE.
