Former WWE Superstar AJ Francis thinks that the company might've regretted letting Hit Row go. He pointed out that each one of them is doing something significant wherever they are right now, and the opportunity was wasted.

Hit Row was a faction consisting of Top Dolla, B-Fab, Ashante Thee Adonis, and current AEW Champion Swerve Strickland. They were released by the wrestling juggernaut in November 2021 not long after arriving on SmackDown. After The Game got promoted in 2022, he brought most of them back. However, Top Dolla was released again in September last year.

Speaking on Straight Talk Wrestling, AJ Francis (FKA Top Dolla) opened up about Hit Row's time in WWE and agreed that there was a lot of wasted opportunity.

“Yeah, there was a lot of wasted opportunity. Look at what Swerve’s doing in AEW, look what I’ve been doing in TNA, look what Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, look what he’s doing in NXT, look at what B-Fab has been doing... The people that are in WWE that ultimately made the decision to punt Hit Row are looking at it now like, ‘Man, maybe we could have did more. Maybe we could have did something different. Maybe we could have gave them an actual chance,'" said Francis. (H/T Fightful)

AJ Francis says the door is still open for return WWE; is in regular contact with Triple H

AJ Francis currently competes in TNA Wrestling. He is a former TNA Digital Media Champion.

When asked if the door is still open for him to return to WWE, Francis revealed on the Angle Podcast that it is. He added that he's still in touch with Triple H and Paul Heyman.

“Yeah, I mean I talked to Paul Heyman and Triple H last week. I still am in communication with everybody there. The thing is, I’m just doing my own thing right now. Before, if you felt that I was just the heavy big man in a crew and just stand there and look big and be that person in Hit Row, if you thought that, you were wrong then. But if you pay attention right now, you’ll see exactly how wrong you are," he said.
