WWE Superstar The Miz shocked everyone last week by kicking R-Truth in the face and betraying him. The Awesome-Truth used to be one of the most beloved tag teams by fans, and nobody predicted this sudden turn of events. This week, The A-Lister decided to break his silence and explain the real reason behind betraying his longtime friend.

Speaking in this week’s edition of RAW Talk, The Miz said that he was fed up with his constant troubles because of R-Truth. He noted that he loved his former teammate just like the WWE Universe. However, being on the same team as him is extremely difficult when he gets them into needless, grueling matches every week.

“I love R-Truth; I think everyone loves R-Truth; everyone has a soft spot in their heart for R-Truth. But I am just here with everything… It's fun to watch, it is fun and entertaining to watch, but to actually have to live through it, think about what I have to go through, to live through and be a tag team partner with R-Truth.”

The WWE Grand Slam Champion also noted that he had asked R-Truth to change his ways multiple times, but all that went in vain. Moreover, he also pointed out that Truth didn’t change his behavior despite just returning from an injury hiatus.

“Then he goes out and gets injured. What happens when he gets injured? He goes away. I'm still here. I try to be the hero, if you will, to go after the guy that injured him, and what happens when Truth comes back? Truth says, 'Well, I'm back'... Why didn't you call me? Why didn't you tell me? And then he puts us in another random match. I am sick of it. I am tired," Miz said.

R-Truth was left stunned after The Miz confirmed his betrayal

The Miz had made it clear that he wanted to end his partnership with Truth. However, the former 24/7 Champion thought The A-Lister had confused him for a Judgment Day member. This illusion was soon shattered by Miz, who said he kicked him on purpose and knew he wasn’t with The Judgment Day.

This statement deeply impacted R-Truth, who couldn’t believe his longtime friend would do this to him. He even said that their kids play together and thought they were brothers.

Now, the two former allies will trade blows next week on RAW. It would be interesting to see if R-Truth could treat The Miz as a foe and if The A-Lister would put a full stop to their brotherhood.
